PULL OUT THE CHIPS AND SALSA

A great night to go racing once again at the Southern New Mexico Speedway with the return of the ASCS 305 Sprint Cars, USRA X-Mods, USRA Street Stocks, Casa Nissan Legends of the Southwest, and the Super Trucks.

In the Super Trucks it was a good one with Sherman Barnett leading it with Matt Higby trying to get around. Later Matt Higby would get around, with Kenny Alons charging to the front. Until Kenny over shot turns one and two. On the restart Matt Higby would take off and park it in victory lane.

Mariah Turnbow out of Deming, New Mexico would lead the first portion of the race with George La Rose, Justin Lasiter, and Donovan Flores trying to get around. Turnbow put a good show up on front until Justin Lasiter got around following Donovan Flores. Lasiter would jump to a big lead to park it in victory lane, and clean sweep the weekend.

In the Legends it was a three car battle between Luis Esquivel, CJ Hulsey, and Joshua Jackson. Those three drivers would go at it for the lead all 15 laps. Luis would enjoy the lead first, after Cj would get around. After that Joshua Jackson would battle Luis Esquivel for second while Hulsey was running away. Joshua Jackson would get around Luis Esquivel, but it was to late as Cj Hulsey would park it in victory lane for the Casa Nissan Legends of the Southwest to clean sweep the weekend!

In the USRA X-Mods it was a crazy one. Rick Hall would lead the way with Carlos Ahumada Jr and Stevie Ray following right behind him. Later those three cars would disappear from the front, and Justin Allen would take over commands. Gregory Gorham drove his heart out trying to get around Justin with his new body on the car, but couldn't get around. Justin Allen would pick up his first "W" this 2014 season at the Southern New Mexico Speedway!

It sure was a "Dynamite" main event for the ASCS 305 Winged Sprint Cars! Anton Salopek, and Cesar Fuentes would lead the field to the green. Salopek jumped to the front, but just till he got into the first corners of the race. Cesar Fuentes would get on top of the chart! Cesar Fuentes had no trouble with the car in the bottom at all, working his way through lap traffic and running away from your field. John Carney the II would try to catch up to Fuentes, but Cesar Fuentes had a faster car. Pull out the chips and salsa, because Cd. Juarez, Mexico racer Cesar Fuentes would win the ASCS 305 Winged Sprint Cars main event!!!

Hope to see you all next week for the Southwest SUPER LATE MODELS!! Make sure to vote for your favorite driver that is racing next week at www.dynamitedirttrackpromotions.com and also from all of us here at the Southern New Mexico Speedway thank you for coming!
