Mother Nature had us going as chances of rain looked bad at 9:00 then it moved back to 11:00, but it hit at X-Mod O'Clock. All classes got their features done except the Jack Key Auto Group USRA X-Mods. The X-Mods will make up tonight's main event on Labor Day Weekend. On the other hand the Lucas Oil POWRi WAR 305 Sprint Cars raced the final five laps of their main event with sprinkles coming down. Joining the action were the Sun Valley Hardware USRA Stock Cars, Claimers, and Mini Sprints.

Claimers kicked off the action and a lot of fans were happy along with the drivers of the Claimer division as the $2,500 to win 200 lap Enduro was announced last week! Two new Claimers joined the action. The fifteen lap feature started with Wesley Eck establishing the front row with Robert Gannaway. On the start Stephanie Smith lead lap one with Dawson Manicki working quickly. By round two Manicki stole the lead from Smith. Scott Sullivan started ninth and challenged for the runner-up position on lap six with Will McCoy. By lap eight Manicki sliced through lapped traffic. Sullivan would catch Manicki with three laps to go, and they would go side by side!! Sullivan took to the lead, but Manicki would answer the phone call on the next go around by going three wide with lapped traffic! He would jump back to the lead until Sullivan side stepped him in turn two and Dawson went side ways! Sullivan would come from ninth to win the Claimer main event.

After an outstanding Claimer feature the Mini Sprints kept the energy rolling. Jody Lawhorn shared the front row with Theron Flack kicking the main event off. Into turn one Melissa Gorham fired on each cylinder mechanically and mental as she knew it was go time! Spencer Hill would work his way through the field quickly as he would challenge Gorham for the lead on lap three. Hill would take care of business from there as he would pick up the Mini Sprint main event win.

Danny Gross Jr had a good night with the Sun Valley Hardware USRA Stock Cars as he started on the pole with Jack Skillin. Gross lead the first handful of laps of the twenty lap feature with Jacob Gallardo, Jaime Torres, and Donovan Flores battling behind! On lap nine your leader Danny Gross Jr spun in turn two! On the restart it was all Donovan Flores. A caution then flew for Justin Lasiter spun in turn two. One more lap was completed as Mark Smith would then draw the final yellow. After that it was game over as Flores would run away to win as Gallardo and Torres battled allowing the 07 of Flores to park it in victory lane!

Royal Jones had a great night going as he won the $200 American Linen Uniform & Supply dash for cash inheriting the pole position of tonight's Lucas Oil POWRi WAR 305 Winged Sprint Car twenty-five lap feature. At the start he would beat Cesar Fuentes into turn one for the lead. Jones lead the opening five laps until a caution flew for Bob Faulhaber on top of turn one. At the restart it was a mess in the back sending Don Grable into the turn four wall ending his night. On the restart the bottom was the place to be as Royal Jones continued to lead the way with Derek DeMartino passing both Wes Wofford and Cesar Fuentes as if they were parked on the bottom jumping to second! The battle for third was good as Jones and DeMartino ran away. Fuentes challenged Wofford until Cesar clipped Wofford's left rear in turn three causing Fuentes to go upside down! During red flag conditions mother nature now wanted to win the main! Officials would move quickly as we finished the final five laps. On the restart Wes Wofford would take the lead!! The bottom went away with a lot of rain now starting to come down. Jones and DeMartino faded away as Wes Wofford, Richard Wilbee, and Lorne Wofford came to life! At the end it was Wes Wofford picking up the win followed by Royal Jones, Richard Wilbee, Lorne Wofford and Derek DeMartino rounding out the top five.
